If you’ve read the first reflection in The Becoming Journal, perhaps you’ve begun to remember something important.

You were never lost.

You simply became buried beneath expectations, responsibilities, and the endless belief that you had to be everything for everyone else.

But once you begin remembering yourself, another question often appears.

“What now?”

You want certainty.

You want to know you’re making the right decision.

You want reassurance that every step you take will lead exactly where you’re meant to go.

But becoming has never asked for certainty.

It asks for courage.

There is a quiet pressure many women carry—the belief that by now they should have everything figured out.

The career.

The relationships.

The purpose.

The five-year plan.

The version of themselves they imagined they would already be.

But what if life was never meant to unfold like a perfectly written script?

What if becoming isn’t about knowing every answer, but trusting yourself enough to take the next small step?

Think of a seed resting beneath the soil.

It doesn’t know how tall it will grow.

It cannot see the flowers it will one day become.

Yet it still reaches towards the light.

Not because it is certain…

But because growth is part of its nature.

And so is yours.

You don’t need to know exactly how your story will unfold.

You don’t need permission to begin.

You don’t need every piece of the puzzle before taking the first step.

Sometimes the path only appears because you were brave enough to start walking.

Trust that where you are today is not where your story ends.

Take one small step.

Then another.

One quiet decision made with love has the power to change the direction of an entire life.

Keep becoming.
